Based in Logan, Utah, John Mickelson, a Chartered Financial Consultant and Advanced Estate Planner, leads Wealth Advocates. As founding partner, he provides client-tailored portfolio services that span independent retirement, business, and estate planning. Across the past three decades, John Mickelson has coordinated services with reputable investment and insurance providers.

A graduate of Brigham Young University, Mr. Mickelson folded a composite minor in Spanish, marketing, accounting, and economics into his pursuit of an international finance degree. He subsequently pursued graduate work in financial services at The American College. A fellow of the Life Underwriter Training Council, Mr. Mickelson maintains FINRA Series 64, 6, and 7 qualifications and has been a Million Dollar Round Table life member for the past 20 years.

Mr. Mickelson is an avid cyclist and tennis player who has coached tennis at Green Canyon High School since 2016. He enjoys travel and exploration. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing in his free time.
